We Love Stories

We love stories. By sharing stories with children from the day they are born, they learn to talk. Getting kids talking well is the best way to get them ready to read. If kids read well it sets them up to do well at school, at work, and in relationships, to have good health and a great life.

Alcohol and Other Drugs/Dual Diagnosis

Banyule Community Health provides counselling and care and recovery support for clients with alcohol and other drug and or/dual diagnosis issues. We undertake a comprehensive intake and assessment process combined with a daily Clinical Review process. All treatment plans are developed in collaboration with clients, consistent with a client-centred treatment approach. We can assist with case management support; referral to detox and rehabilitation facilities and counselling support (individual and/or group based therapy).

Banyule Community Health Complex Care Managers aim to help people access services they need to stay safe, independent and healthy as possible.  Care Managers support people to achieve this in close consultation with you, your family and your health professionals. The amount of involvement by the Care Manager is based on your needs and your ability to manage those needs.  The Care Manager will be involved for as long as it takes to improve your health management.
