A nine week program incorporating knowledge and exercise to reduce the risk of trips and falls.
Wednesdays at 10.30am - 12pm (for nine weeks)
$6 per session
The program focuses on physical activity, education and nutritional advice. Each week, different health professionals will help you improve your balance and leg strength and provide information on how to prevent falls.
Participant criteria: This group is for people who are over 65 and have a history of falls or are at risk of falling. Participants need a medical clearance form from their doctor before attending.
When: Wednesdays at 10.30am – 12pm (for nine weeks)
Where: Ivanhoe Senior Exercise Park, Cnr Lower Heidelberg Rd &, Wamba Rd, Ivanhoe East (Street parking is available)
Cost: $5 per session
Note: Please wear flat comfortable shoes, loose clothing and bring a water bottle. Remember to be sun smart as we are outdoors.
