Our values of dignity, quality and passion are lived every day. We celebrate this through quarterly Workplace Recognition Awards. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone – community members, our staff, our volunteers and students. Inclusive workplaces occur when everyone is respected, supported, feel safe and has access to opportunity.

In 2022, the Diversity Council of Australia recognised Banyule Community Health as an Inclusive Employer.

We employ over 250 staff, working alongside 100+ volunteers.

We provide services from our main sites in West Heidelberg and Greensborough, as well as 30 different outreach locations which provide access to Banyule Community Health services. Our wide range of services at Banyule Community Health includes West Heidelberg Community Legal, established in 1975, making it one of Australia’s longest running health justice partnerships. The unique, integrated service model provides free legal services to some of the most vulnerable and marginalised residents of Banyule.
