Thank you Banyule Community Health Peer Connection Volunteers

April 21, 2020 · News, Video

Our Peer Connection #Volunteers, from our Gamblers Help Team, are continuing to provide telephone support to people at home still struggling with their #gambling. We thank them for their dedication in supporting others during this difficult time.

The #PeerConnection Program is delivered by volunteers who have had a personal experience of gambling harm and recovery. Sometimes speaking with a person who has ‘been there done that’ can be helpful for your own #recovery, especially when it’s difficult to talk to others about it.

We encourage anyone who would like #support to call 1300 133 445 to find out how we can help you move forward.

The Peer Connection Program is a service of Gambler’s Help North and North Western.
