Yesterday, our Bell Street, Coburg site hosted our Chair, Tass and CEO, Tassia, with ministers Josh Burns, Ged Kearney, Kate Thwaites and Peter Khalil and Associate Professor Ruth McNair for the announcement.
This funding highlights the importance of creating better health outcomes for LGBTIQA+ communities and reducing stigma and discrimination. We know that significant health disparities exist between LGBTIQA+ Australians and other people. One in three LGBTIQA+ people rate their health as poor or fair and three in four have experienced a mental health condition.
