The Week Without Violence (WWV) is a global campaign to end violence against women. The campaign occurs in the third week of October, each year. This year it will be held 18-24 October.
Since 1999, the northern metropolitan region has a proud history of participation in the WWV, primarily through the Clothesline Project, which focuses on raising awareness of family violence.
Usually Banyule Community Health participates in the clothesline project which enables people to come together and express their feelings about family violence with art or words on a t-shirt.
As we are unable to come together this year due to COVID we are encouraging staff and the community to show their support by using a paper template of t-shirt which will be posted to social media.
The template can be downloaded here: Week Without Violence 2020 T-shirt Template.
If you do not have access to a printer but would like to participate please email banyule@bchs.org.au
To share your artwork on our social media channels, please forward completed t-shirt artwork (photo or scanned copy) to banyule@bchs.org.au
We look forward to seeing your designs!
