Strengthening Barrbunin Beek – Come along and help make Barrbunin Beek a gathering place for all the mob!

February 10, 2022 · News

Barrbunin Beek, meaning ‘happy place’ in woiwurrung language, is a gathering place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to celebrate culture in a safe place, connect with the community and elders, and build wellbeing through community strengthening.

We want to hear from you to know which changes are needed to make Barrbunin Beek safer, more comfortable and a better place for community to come together.  Through two consultation sessions an architect will work with you and the community in re-designing the space for the future.
