You can support our community legal service in many ways.
Volunteer Clerkship Program
We offer a Volunteer Law Clerkship Program to law students in at least their penultimate year of study. VLCs assist in the operation of our busy practice and work alongside lawyers to help deliver legal services to the community.
VLCs will be involved in client intake, referral, administration, research and varied client-work in a range of areas of law.
We ask that potential VLCs commit to volunteer one day per week from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for at least 12 months.
If you’re interested in joining our team, please email your resume, a cover letter and an indication of your availabilities to whclegal@bchs.org.au. If we don’t have any current vacancies we will keep your details on file.
Donate or make a bequest
Throughout our 40 year history, regular donations have helped ensure that we can provide vital free legal services to the community we serve.
Our future can be strengthened through continued financial support from donations and bequests.
