You are eligible for a #COVID-19 #booster dose if:
- you are 18 years or older, AND
- have had your second dose of a COVID-19 #vaccination at least 6 months ago.
Booster doses are not mandatory, but they will help strengthen your #immunity against COVID-19. Booster doses are free for everyone.
The Pfizer vaccine has been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) as the recommended booster dose.
You can have the Pfizer vaccine as a booster dose regardless of which vaccine you had for your first 2 doses.
We have booster appointments available at Banyule Community Health. Even if you got your first two doses somewhere else, you can still book your booster dose with us.
You can book online at our website: https://bchs.org.au/services/medical/covid-19-vaccinations/ or you can call us on 9450 2629 between 9 AM and 3 PM, Monday to Friday.
If you’re booking online, complete the eligibity checker and make sure to select ‘Pfizer Booster Dose’ when you are prompted to.
To book your booster shot, you must provide proof of your second dose, including the date you received it (this is on your COVID-19 digital certificate).
