We are now taking referrals for our 2020 Babble and Chat Playgroup (formerly called Mother Goose Language Playgroup). The group draws on the principles of Parent-Child Mother Goose and MyTime programs.

This on-going group is run by facilitators with speech pathology and early intervention experience with a focus on attachment, oral language development and parent/carer support. The group is trauma-informed, free and suitable for children aged 0-5.

In the first half of the session, parents/carers and children share stories, play, songs and rhymes and play to support attachment and language development.

In the second half of the session, children have a snack and engage in supervised play while parents/carers meet and discuss parenting concerns. Parents/carers can also be connected with appropriate services.

The group supports families currently working with, or waiting for, Allied Health and NDIS services, as well as those experiencing social isolation or multiple vulnerabilities.

When: Mondays 10am – 12pm (school term only)
