Making A Move Falls Prevention Program Banyule Community Health
21 Alamein Road, West Heidelberg
Wednesday afternoons - a 9 week program incorporating knowledge and exercise, starting in March and August.
Cost: $5 per session

Criteria to attend: Over 65 and at risk of falls.

Eat Well Play Well

Eat Well Play Well is a series of nutrition talks for parents and carers of children 0-5yrs and is run by Banyule Community Health Paediatric Dietitian, with presentations by a physiotherapist and an Occupational Therapist on physical activity and active play.

The program aims to assist families in establishing healthy eating and encouraging active play in preschool children to prevent overweight and obesity.

Criteria to attend: To be a woman with links to the West Heidelberg Community. Participants are mostly older, local ladies.

Criteria to attend: Talk to GP before attending if you have any concerns about ability to participate.  No experience necessary. People with mental health issues welcome.
