The Women of West Heidelberg International Women Day event has become an annual event for Banyule Community Health.  This years focus is on the prevention of violence against women and includes presentations from Helen Riseborough, former BCH employee and now CEO of Women Health in the North, Aboriginal Elder Aunty Fay Carter and Chris Deakin will act as MC.

The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that, on Thursday 30th October 2014, the Victorian Minister for Health – the Hon David Davies MP, Awarded Banyule Community Health General Practice the inaugural General Practice Award 2014 in recognition of the General Practice team’s exemplary care to the most vulnerable members of our community.  The Award recognizes leadership and innovation in building capacity across the sector, empowering individuals to manage their healthcare, and tailoring supports to better meet the needs of vulnerable communities.
